These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Daniel Archie Skemp, d/b/a Nu Stack. By creating an account or using nustack.app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Nu Stack Is
Nu Stack is a tool for calculating melt values, tracking precious metals portfolios, analyzing market data, and managing inventory. It is a productivity and reference tool. It is not a financial advisory service, a brokerage, or a regulated investment platform.
3. Spot Price and Market Data Disclaimer
Spot prices displayed in Nu Stack are sourced from third-party market data providers and are provided for reference purposes only. Prices may be delayed, cached, or temporarily unavailable due to network conditions. Nu Stack makes no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any price data. Any purchase or sale you make using this app is your own decision and your own responsibility. Nu Stack is not liable for any financial loss resulting from reliance on price data displayed in the app.
4. Not Financial Advice
Nothing in Nu Stack — including the Strategy Panel, buy zone indicators, market regime classifications, sentiment gauges, or DCA tracker — constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. These tools are for informational and educational purposes only. Always conduct your own research and consult a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions.
5. Compliance Responsibility
Nu Stack does not provide legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. Users who buy precious metals from the public may be subject to state and local dealer licensing laws, seller ID recording requirements, LEADS reporting obligations, and federal cash transaction reporting rules including IRS Form 8300. It is your sole responsibility to understand and comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. The optional seller record-keeping feature in Nu Stack is a convenience tool only and does not constitute legal compliance.
6. AI Coin Identification
The AI-powered coin identification feature uses machine learning and may produce inaccurate results. Identifications and valuations are estimates only. Do not rely solely on AI identification for purchasing decisions. Always verify with a professional numismatist for high-value coins.
7. Account Registration
You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
8. Subscription and Billing
Nu Stack is offered on a free tier and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly as selected at signup. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge if you have a billing concern. 9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the app; use the app for any unlawful purpose; share your account credentials; or attempt to circumvent subscription gating.
10. Data & Content
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. However, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data as necessary to provide the Service.
11. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nu Stack's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
